My Brief Biography and Journey

Ahoy! I’m Sercan Aslan, born in June 1989 in Istanbul, raised in the green hills of Beykoz.

My journey began early — I started working as an apprentice in electronics thanks to my uncle Ersoy, who taught me that circuits can tell stories, if you listen closely enough.

While studying electronics in high school, I stumbled into the vast sea of the internet. What started with games evolved into a passion for web design, servers, code, and even a bit of ethical hacking. Computers became more than a hobby — they became a part of who I am.

Though I studied Electronic Technology in university, my heart always beat for IT and digital creation. After returning to Istanbul, I briefly worked in electronics before making a life-changing decision: I turned to the sea.

I began as a seafarer with Yasa Shipping, and today I serve as an Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) aboard Oldendorff vessels, under Omikron Crew Management.

With nearly 15 years of maritime experience, I have traveled thousands of nautical miles, visited countless ports, and embraced diverse cultures — all while continuously nurturing my passion for technology.

Now, I am combining my maritime experience and digital expertise to create innovative web projects and a unique social platform dedicated to seafarers.

I’m here to turn your visions, ideas, and dreams into seamless digital experiences.

Because sometimes, a single line of code is like turning the wheel of a ship —
You set the course. I’ll help you sail it.
